The concept of happiness at work wasn’t really a ‘thing’ until the last few years. Now we know that workplace happiness matters. According to research done at the University of Warwick in the UK, workplace happiness increases productivity by up to 12%. Happy workers guarantee more productivity, more innovation and less conflict. How good is that?!
We think we must be doing something right because this month we’re celebrating our head designer Andrew’s 11-year work anniversary with Pinnacle&Co. It’s the longest he’s ever worked for anyone, and we think that says something about how happy he’s feeling working with us for all these years. “Andrew is full of drive, loyalty, and creativity,” says Phillippa. “It’s like the creativity volume is turned right up to to within him. Every day! He eats, sleeps, and breathes design. He’s a joy to have in the team.”
Great people make a great team
People often say to Phillippa, “You must be a great boss”, but her response to that is, “It takes a great team to make a great boss! With people like Andrew, who are so dedicated to our clients and their design needs, it’s fabulous being their boss.” And yes, life is not all a bed of roses. We’ve had our hard times, and we all get stressed from time to time, but we recognise the power of enjoying the tasks assigned to us and feeling respected and acknowledged at work. Thank you, Andrew, for your dedication to our fabulous clients and our awesome team!
