It was clear to Phillippa that the company could produce much better results by treating the two limestone products as separate brands. By doing that they would simplify their messaging and they could target their very different customer audiences much more effectively.

Phillippa recommended creating two new brands:

Brand One

Create the ‘Oamaru Stone’ brand to promote limestone blocks and CNC-shaped stone to a New Zealand-wide market of architects, builders, landscapers, and construction companies. 

Brand Two

Create the ‘Parkside Limeworks’ brand to sell agricultural lime products to farmers in Otago and South Canterbury.

When we started work Oamaru Stone’s Archipro Health Score was languishing at just 18%, but we’ve taken it all the way up to 83%. 

Awareness of Oamaru Stone as a building material has improved out of sight with specifiers all over New Zealand – and has led to Oamaru Stone being used in interior and exterior architectural and design projects all over New Zealand.
