28 years and not out! Our amazing innings with Riccarton Cricket

The Riccarton Cricket Club is over 120 years old and is one of the longest-running sports clubs in New Zealand. Every year, it produces a printed annual report. Some might say that’s an old school way of doing things in the digital age, but the Club believes that having a physical publication in its hands every year is the best way to keep its rich heritage alive for future generations.

Because preserving history is so important to the club, it should come as no surprise that the Club chooses to work with one of Christchurch’s longest-running full-service advertising agencies – that’s us! Every year since 1998, we’ve designed and printed the Riccarton Cricket Club’s Annual Report.

Producing and printing the Annual Report

As Tim says, this is a team job that requires working very closely with him to collate a very large volume of written material, plus scores, statistics, and dozens of photos that all have to go into exactly the right place. When we have everything organised, we design the Annual Report, proofread it, make revisions, and then send it off to the printers. Altogether, the process takes several months of combined effort.
