It’s official. We’re certified Canterbury Trusted. - Pinnacle&Co. Ltd.

It’s official. We’re certified Canterbury Trusted.

Endorsements, testimonials, and reviews are common in business, but official recognition of a business is a lot rarer, so we’re feeling very privileged to have recently been awarded Canterbury Trusted Certification by Business Canterbury.

What is Canterbury Trusted and why should you care?

The aim of Canterbury Trusted is to ‘Raise the Bar’ by bringing together a network of local businesses that are committed to strengthening local business confidence. By making trusted practice visible, it sets a higher standard for the whole region. Canterbury Trusted is backed by Business Canterbury’s 165+ years of experience supporting regional businesses, and this Certification transforms their deep local insight and expertise into a clear, consistent measure for what it means to be trusted in Canterbury.

That’s why being awarded Canterbury Trusted Certification is a very big deal for a small local business, and even more so because achieving it is not easy.

Business Canterbury really put Pinnacle&Co. under the microscope and saw that we demonstrate all the fundamentals of a solid, financially sound business. But it’s not just about the numbers. Not only do we do a great job for our clients, but they also saw that we work hard on behalf of our staff and in the community too.

Canterbury Trusted also places a lot of weight on a company’s track record. It takes a long time to earn genuine trust, especially in Canterbury where integrity and responsibility are so highly valued. Last year Pinnacle&Co. celebrated 28 years in business, and since Phillippa founded the company, our priority has always been to do the very best for our clients.

What are Canterbury Trusted Certification criteria

It’s rare that a business is awarded Canterbury Trusted status the first time they apply for it. And when you consider the rigorous selection criteria, it’s not surprising. But we’re happy to say that Pinnacle&Co. made it on the first attempt. But it’s not a one-and-done thing. Every year we must re-earn our Certification through an annual assessment where we must demonstrate our ongoing commitment to the high standards required to be Canterbury Trusted.

This is what it takes to become Canterbury Trusted:

Acts with integrity

The business must display an ethical, transparent practice at all times, and under all circumstances.

Delivers consistently

Its customers can always rely on it to deliver high-quality products or services.

Shows financial strength

It must be stable, responsible, and meet all its obligations.

Values people

People are any business’s most valuable resource. So it must make a positive impact on its employees, clients, and the wider Canterbury community.
